Hong Kong-based Web Connection, a provider of e-business and CRM solutions to dot-com companies looking to penetrate the Asian market, announced Monday that it has entered into a strategic agreement with an Australian Internet integration company.
The financial terms of the deal with XT3 were not disclosed.
The move will expand Web Connection’s presence to eight countries in the pan-Asian region. Web Connection is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chinadotcom (Nasdaq: CHINA).
Among Web Connection’s customers are Cisco Systems, IBM, GE, General Motors and Samsung. Chinadotcom offers Web solutions, portals and content and online advertising services. It has 1300 employees across Asia and is backed by AOL, Nortel and a number of other large multinationals.
