Juno Online Services (Nasdaq: JWEB), the world’s second largest ISP, said Monday it has selected IslandData to be its primary e-mail support tool.
The Carlsbad, California-based IslandData provides its e-mail support tool to Adobe, AltaVista, Apple, Canon, Hewlett-Packard, Novell and a host of other companies.
With 9.4 million registered accounts, Juno said it selected IslandData’s ExpressResponse tool to deliver e-mail responses to its customers more effectively and cheaply than the manual method. The company cited figures predicting that customer service e-mail messages will reach one billion a month industry-wide by the end of the year.
